Eternity
You found me when I was lost.
You loved me when I was unlovable.
You comforted me when I was scared.
You picked me up when I fell.
You were my friend when I was alone.
You taught me how to let my light be shone.
You helped me through the growing pains.
When I disappointed you, you loved me all the same.
You thought of me before I was born,
With every piece of skin that was torn.
The nails that went into your hands were my salvation plan.
When I finally leave this world for good,
I’ll be in my Father’s arms as I should.
Not a tear shall be shed for me,
Because I'll be by my Fathers side for eternity.
